Rain Gauge Logger

The Model 3002 Rain Gauge Logger (shown)  is designed for use with Solinst Levelogger software and almost any conventional tipping-bucket rain gauge with a reed switch output. This allows rainfall to be monitored conveniently along with water levels. For high accuracy, the Rain Logger counts rain bucket tips in micrometers (µm), then expresses readings in mm/period. The linear sampling period can be set anywhere between 10 - 90 minutes. The Rain Logger records total rainfall for each sample period, and uses the highest accumulation per 5 minute interval within each sample period to record a peak intensity.
