Overview
Thermo Scientific Orion Star Series Meters offer benchtop and portable models for measuring dissolved oxygen and other water quality parameters. Several meters feature In-Situ’s Rugged Dissolved Oxygen (RDO) technology. The RDO Sensor does not require sample flow, sample stirring, membranes, or electrolyte solution. The RDO Sensor operates with minimal drift over time, resulting in fewer calibrations. In addition, the RDO Sensor does not require conditioning prior to use or if the sensor dries out. Orion Star Meters are ideal for measurements from effluent, aeration basins and influent, as the sensor is not affected by color or turbidity. Meters with the EPA-approved RDO Sensor can be used for NPDES-permitted applications. Reliably determine BOD, CBOD, and DO in wastewaters and stormwater discharges.
A220-Series Meters are designed for single-parameter measurements. These durable, dependable meters are GMP/GLP compliant. Memory logs up to 1,000 data points with time/date stamp and RS232/USB communications.
A320-Series Meters are designed for single, dual, and mulitparameter measurements. These durable, dependable meters are GMP/GLP compliant. Memory logs up to 5,000 data points with time/date stamp and RS232/USB communications.
