influences many important parameters in groundwater and surface water
systems. These parameters include density, specific weight,
viscosity, surface tension, and thermodynamic properties such as
equilibrium and kinetic constants. In addition, temperature
plays an important role in risk assessments, as the temperature can
impact the amount of contaminant available via some exposure pathways.
